This allows your brand to offer unique, customized leather goods while benefiting from our artisanal Ethiopian craftsmanship.

5. Where does Sabegn source its leather?

We use Ethiopian full-grain leather, renowned for its durability, rich texture, and natural beauty. Before using new hides, we prioritize upcycling leather scraps into smaller products, ensuring a circular and eco-conscious production process.

6. How long does production and delivery take?

  • Wholesale Orders: 6–8 weeks, depending on order size and complexity

7. How does Sabegn ensure product quality?

Every item goes through quality control at every stage:

  • Cutting: Skilled artisans hand-cut each piece (e.g., Tadesse, our master cutter, carefully selects hides for consistency)

  • Stitching & Assembly: Monitored for durability and precision

  • Inspection: Selam, our quality control lead, ensures no detail is overlooked

This guarantees that every wholesale unit meets global standards.

8. Does Sabegn support sustainable wholesale practices?

Yes. Sustainability is central to Sabegn. We:

  • Prioritize upcycling leather scraps into new products

  • Use eco-friendly packaging

  • Pay artisans fair wages

We typically require a 50% deposit upon order confirmation and the remaining 50% before shipment. For long-term wholesale partners, flexible payment terms may be discussed.

10. How can I get a wholesale catalogue or price list?

You can request our Wholesale & White-Label Catalogue (PDF) by filling out the contact form on our website or emailing us directly.

11. Do you guarantee prototyping results?

While we guarantee our best efforts in producing a prototype, due to the unpredictable nature of the process, we cannot guarantee the outcome. Be rest assured, however, that we use our years of experience and all of the resources to deliver your leather solution just the way you meant it to be.

12. Is there anything else I need to know about prototyping process?

Prototyping is a time consuming and highly unpredictable process. Sometimes the outcome is not as expected, and we have to refine the process to achieve the desired results. Your patience during this process is greatly appreciated.
