Among all the submissions, one design stood out in how well it fit our materials and skill set of our artisans. The self adjusting mechanism of this bag also fixed one of our long term challenges to Sustainability; helping us avoid the use of metal accessories. The intentionality behind the design made it addresses multiple realms including Timeless Yet Contemporary Aesthetic, Versatility of Use, Culture, Environmental and Social Sustainability.
